In the “Great Commission” Jesus tells us to GO! Go make disciples. GO Baptize. Go teach my Commandments. But Who is he telling to Go and what does Go look like?
Talking about the prophet Hosea who God told to marry a prostitute named Gomer. When Gomer ran away the Lord told Hosea to go get her back. What He did for her will blow your mind. and just as Hosea went after Gomer the Lord relentlessly pursues us because he loves us and sees something in us we don’t see in ourselves
If you spend any time with Jesus He will start putting people on your heart to speak to. Here is the deal God wants you to know it doesn’t matter if they listen to you or not. Your job is obedience. God’s job is results. He still wants to give them a message even if they listen or not . WHY BECAUSE HE LOVES THEM and is a relentless lover and cares for his creation!!!
I love this verse that you should take what everyone says to heart. I wish someone would have told me this when I was growing up because I believed that any criticism of me had at least an ounce of truth in it and I need to change according to people’s opinion of me. But can I tell you there is another way
The Lord Searches the Earth looking for a heart fully devoted to him. King Asa started out his reign fully committed to God but along the way his heart turned. He asked another king to help him in battle instead of God like he once did. The Lord is still today looking for a heart fully committed to him
2 Chronicles 16
It’s so important that the younger generation listens to the older generation. There would be a lot less mistakes made if the advice of the older wiser generation was heeded. Rehoboam, Solomon’s son made a big mistake by not listening to the older generation and ended up with with a portion of the kingdom instead of the whole kingdom.
2 Chronicles 10
It when you know you shouldn’t sin so you only do it a little bit or only in a certain area but honor God in other areas. Solomon knew he should not have married foreign wives but he did it any way. Solomon did have his limits and convictions so he was sinning but only so far.
2 Chronicles 8
King David made it a habit through out his life to ask God for advice. And the Lord wants us to do the same. God is all knowing and he is so generous when we ask for advice, wisdom, counsel, etc. 1 Chronicles 14
God will send confirmation to confirm that what he spoke over us either will happen or that we are in the right place at the right time just like he did for David when he became King. God loves confirming His message to you. He did it for me when the Lord told my husband and I to start giving groceries away once a month. If he confirmed the word He spoke over me God will confirm things for you too.
1 Chronicles 14
God wants to speak to us about the future so we know how to make the right decisions when the time comes. It was spoken about David over and over again that he would anointed king. Not everyone recognized when the time came but a couple of groups did. One of those groups being the tribe of Issachar all because they recognized the signs of the times.
