Correction, Rebuke, and Discipline are never ever fun but it is so needed. God corrects and disciplines us because He loves us and cares that we are making mistakes or bad choices and wants to help us fix them.

As the proverb says if it is within your power to act you need to not withhold goods. That could mean an employee to an employer, someone God had put on your heart, or a person that needs to borrow from you.

Devotion: Delay Recognition

When you do something so right or say something on point but you don’t get promoted, praise, or recognized like you should. Just know that God is in control and delaying it for the right time. Esther 6

Devotion: Understanding God’s Word

It’s not enough for us to know what is in the Bible (though we should) we need to understand it’s meaning. After Nehemiah and the Jews completed the wall they had a time of rejoicing with a feast and reading the book of the law. But the leaders didn’t just read it they explained the meaning as well.
